**Cyclocomputers**
Barmount- You simply need to know the diameter of your handle bar, typically the head unit mounts near the stem, so choose a model that has a clamp that matches the clamp diameter of your stem.
Standard Clamps – Generally refer to 25.4mm or 26.0mm handlebars. Oversized Clamps – Generally refer to 31.8mm diameter handlebars. Dual Fit Clamps—Fit both standard and oversized handlebars by use of a sizable plastic insert, or extra shim. Offset Clamps –Offset refers to a mount that moves the position of the head so it is not in-line with the actual bar clamp.
Sensors- Sensors fit a wide range of sizes, usually by mounting with Zip ties or a sizable plastic mount.
Range- (wireless units only) To eliminate cross transmission many wireless units put out a very low power signal. Generally the maximum range on wireless units is about 22 inches (60cm), but this distance may be reduced by obstructions such as brake calipers, cabling, or other accessories.

The Astrale 8 sets the standard for wired speed and cadence.
